Our Non-Profit League continues to grow through the efforts of many volunteers. There are NO paid members on the Board or anywhere in the organization. As with any youth based association, we loose our dedicated core of volunteers as their children get older and outgrow our league. We are constantly in need of volunteers to take over where others have left off managing, developing and growing the League.

• Fundraising Committee Associates – assist with fundraising, sponsorship and business development activities
• Field Maintenance Committee Coordinators – coordinate the field maintenance at specific complexes
• Field/Building Maintenance Committee Associates – providing construction, electrical and landscaping support for our field complexes before, during and after the season
• Snack Stand Committee Associates – assist in opening the snack stands and monitoring inventory
• Website Associates – publish photography and articles regarding PBA activities for website
• Picture Day Coordinator & Associates – coordinate and assist in the team/player picture day event
• Professional Services Associates – support for legal and insurance activities
• PBA League Administration – division directors, program development, and other baseball administration activities
• Umpires and Umpire Administration – experienced umpires for travel and senior division games and coordinator for training and scheduling of youth in-house umpires
• Coaches – Head and Assistant Coaches – Head Coaches will be required to complete a separate application and training program

Plumstead Baseball is looking for creative adults and teens to help with photography & video, social media & web, and the HAWK mascot’s “insider”!

PBA puts most of our focus into developing skills and experience ON the baseball field. But we also like to do a lot of community-building with things like:

• Player photos on Facebook/website: PBA parents often use Facebook and email to send around photos of their PBA players in action!
• Maintain a social media cadence: We are active on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram
• Mascot appearances every weekend. YES…you could be the “HAWK Insider”! (Photography and web/social media posts for the HAWK too! )
• Video production—just short promotional items to build community and have fun!
• Coverage at special events like our big Opening Day events, All Star Games, Little League Championship games, and more! (Photos, video, HAWK, etc)

We’re looking for adults and high school students to manage and participate in these publicity efforts. (We’ll document high school student participation for service hours for Key Club, Honor Society, etc.)
